If your pet's medication is out of stock, we’ll contact you with an expected restock date where we have one, and you can choose whether to wait for restock, switch to a vet-approved alternative where one exists, or take a refund.

You will never be left wondering where a medication order is.

You can choose to:

1. Wait. Your order stays active and dispenses the moment stock arrives.
2. Opt for an alternative brand only where one exists, and only with both your vet's approval and yours. Some scripts specify no substitution, and we always follow that.
3. Request a refund, particularly if the medication is time-sensitive and your pet cannot wait. Ask your vet about an interim supply from the clinic if your pet is mid-treatment.

Medication supply shortages are industry-wide at times, and they are frustrating. We will always tell you what we know honestly, including when we do not have a date.
