How many repeats do I have left?Updated a month ago
If you would like to check how many repeats are remaining on your pet's script, there are two ways to find out.
The number of repeats remaining is printed on the dispensing label attached to your pet's medication. You can also contact us with your pet's name and the medication, and we will confirm the number of repeats and the expiry date on the same business day.
- Each order uses one repeat. When your repeats run out, you will need a new prescription from your vet before we can dispense again.
- Scripts also expire. Most veterinary prescriptions are valid for up to 12 months from the date written, unless your vet set an earlier expiry date, and unused repeats cannot be dispensed after the script expires.
- Running low on repeats? Ask your vet for a new script at your pet's next check-up so there is no gap in your pet's medication. We will contact you by email before your medication is set to run out.
If your vet clinic is VetScript-enabled, they can send your script as an eScript, so it goes straight to VLP Pharmacy with no paper to post and no uploading a copy. Your vet handles the script, and VLP Pharmacy handles the rest.
